Alaska Yukon Pacific Exposition monthly pass for Anna Earnest, 1909.

The Alaska-Yukon-Pacific Exposition monthly pass stamped with the number 3900 was issued by the Exposition's Bureau of Admissions to Anna Earnest, a worker at the fair. It includes an identification photograph of Earnest , as well as a few of the original daily admission tickets. These tickets, intended for exposition workers, were non-transferrable and to be used only by the holder, who was identified by number on each ticket and on her photograph. The pass is contained in a green leather enclosure stamped on the front: "A.Y.P., 1909, Anna Earnest, Seattle, Wash." The interior of this holder has a space cut out to reveal the photograph of Earnest. While a few of the remaining coupons still are attached to the ticket book, others are loose. This item is fragile and should be handled with care.
